Look up and you'll see the majestic volcanic mountains that slope dramatically down to the many coves and bays that make up the coastline. Look down -- if you dare -- and you may spy schools of tropical fish, sea turtles, manta rays, sharks, dolphins and whales.
Your ultra-lite journey begins at the Tamarindo airport and travels overland to Flamingo Beach where you'll circle over its white sands and the Bay of Potrero. The pilot will then turn back south and cruise along the coast to give you close-up views of the beautiful beaches of Playa Conchal and Playa Las Piratas.
From there you'll enter the air-space over the huge, untouched mangrove fields of Playa Grande, the home to many exotic birds and crocodiles. Our pilot will then fly a low level course along Playa Grande so you can experience its famous surf in a way surfers never can -- you'll stay dry. From there the gyrocopter turns back inland to deposit you safely and sound at the Tamarindo airport.
You may be left breathless from your flight over the stunningly beautiful countryside, majestic mountains, miles of tropical secluded beaches and the cobalt blue Pacific Ocean....but the journey is worth it.
