Surfing Lessons and Trips
When you have a trained instructor, surfing is easier than it looks! We have classes for both beginners and experienced surfers. Or if you don't need a lesson, we can take you to the best break points in the area.
Learn to Surf in Costa Rica!
With a focus on personalized attention and safety, our surf instructors are the best in Guanacaste. We use two instructors for every class (so groups of two get one on one attention!) and keep a strict 1:4 instructor – student ratio. We LOVE kids. Our surf instructors will make sure your children will have three hours of pure fun with an emphasis on safety.
Never surfed before? No problem! 
Our surfing lessons are designed for beginners. We take our students to Playa Grande, a world class beach where the waves are perfect for learning to surf. We can also accommodate large groups and wedding parties.
Non-surfers are welcome to come along to take pictures and enjoy a day at the beach. T
here is a small fee for transporting non-surf students, or they can follow in their own car for free!
Each three-hour morning or afternoon surfing lesson includes:
- Pick up and drop off from your vacation accommodation
- Two hours of lessons on the beach and in the water
- Surf board & rash guard rental
- Post-surfing drinks on the beach
Special Package -- Playa Avellanas Half Day Trip
With its pristine white sand, Playa Avellanas is one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica and a popular surfing spot for beginner and advanced surfers alike. If you want to relax, there's an outdoor restaurant with delicious seafood and tropical drinks. It is located 45 minutes from the Flamingo/Potrero area.
Our package includes:
- Pick up and drop off from your accommodation
