The Guanacaste Area
Guanacaste, the northern most Province on the Pacific Coast, is known as the dry forest. This remarkable region is low in humidity and has just 2 seasons: the Green Season, May 15th to Nov. 15th, is when we have morning or afternoon showers that clear to provide spectacular sunsets and the Gold Season, with beautiful sunny days from Nov. 15th to May 15th.
Costa Rica is often called the “Switzerland of the Americas,” a title deserving because its neutral political stance and the fact that Costa Rica has no standing military.
