The main level boasts an open floor plan with 33 foot tall teak ceilings, a comfortably furnished great room, a dining table for 8, a fully equipped kitchen with top of the line appliances, granite countertops and a wonderful view of the ocean and pool. The great room has huge glass doors that span 16 feet allowing the space to flow out to the ocean front terrace.
Each bedroom has its own private bath. Two of the main level bedrooms have private terraces and kitchenettes for those who wish to have breakfast in bed or a private dinner. The other two bedrooms both open out to the main terrace, pool and ocean. The fifth bedroom doubles as the media room with a large screen cable TV, making it a wonderful location for children and teen-agers to relax after a long day, or for a group to gather to watch a special event, like the Super Bowl. There is also a spacious upper level loft with futon couches to provide that extra bedding for additional guests.
Corazon del Mar also has an office space with broadband internet, a computer and a printer, plus air-conditioning and enough comfortable furniture for everyone to enjoy.
The infinity pool looks out over the ocean and is complemented by an outdoor bar with refrigerator, sink and BBQ grill and a huge partially covered terrace with patio furniture for lounging, reading and dining.
All this plus full-time service of the live-in staff, who will see to your every need while respecting your privacy.

Perfect Vacation June 19 - 29, 2010
We had a great 10 days at Villa Corazon del Mar. All ten of us, from 5 year old Zoe to 70 year old me just thoroughly enjoyed the house and the amenities that are included with it. We used the pool more than I had anticipated. Yesterday our son-in-law Jace and our 15-year-old grandson Tyler kayacked out to the island just off Flamingo and were very pleased with themselves.
There are a number of people who helped make this a perfect vacation and anniversary celebration and to whom we owe a debt of gratitude. First and foremost is Cynthia. I started communicating with Cynthia almost 2 years ago, and she has been extremely helpful throughout. When we arrived she took the time to show us to the house and help us get settled in, giving us helpful advice about the area in the process. She's good at what she does and impressed us as just a wonderful person.
Then there's Tomas and Janet. They were always there when we needed them. Soon after we arrived most of the adults went grocery shopping, leaving our son-in-law Jim to go out and get some take-out food for our supper. When he still hadn't returned nearly 2 hours later we began to be concerned. I went over and talked with Tomas, who jumped on his motorcycle and went out to look for Jim. Fortunately Jim found his way home and showed up very soon after Tomas left, but we appreciated his concern and willingness to help. Tomas and Janet prepared two wonderful dinners for us, which we all enjoyed immensely.
Then there's Dervin. What a wonderful guy he is. He did a lot to make our time memorable and enjoyable. He arranged a zip line and spa trip for us, which was a highlight, and several days later he was our guide on a boat trip on the Tempisque, where we saw white-faced monkeys, iguanas, crocodiles, and many species of birds. He arranged for some of us to go horse-back riding on the beach and loaned us several fishing poles. He also recommended a great restaurant, where our kids and grandkids took Lee and me for our 50th.
As I said, it's been a great time. I can't tell you how special a family time it's been. Thank you so much for letting us use your "Heart of the Sea!"
