About Hacienda Pinilla
Golf - An excellent golf course virtually “in your backyard” completes the exclusive atmosphere for lovers of this sport. This is a true, 6,800-meter masterpiece by Mike Young, who has designed some of the finest golf courses in the southern United States. His characteristic emphasis on detail led him to build a course where each hole was designed to conform to the slopes and contours of the natural landscape of Hacienda Pinilla. The frequent risk/reward situations offer different challenges every time you play and the trees, apart from offering refreshing breaks, also represent natural obstacles.
Beach Club - The Beach Club is located on Playa Avellanas, a beautifully diverse beach for swimming, surfing and strolling. The 3-story building is built in Spanish colonial architectural style, fitting for the casual atmosphere of the Hacienda Pinilla Pacific beaches.
The entrance is located on the main floor and houses a kid’s club and a spacious, open-air casual restaurant and bar area, facing the pool and the sea. In addition, there are men’s and women’s restrooms. Facing the beach is an infinity edge pool as well as a children’s section, spa, gardens, sun decks and an open-air restaurant. Opposite the pool is a full bar that serves food and drink to the pool and beach areas as well as a small space for beach game rentals and towel delivery.
On the upper level is an outdoor lounge area and an air conditioned relaxation area, all with sea and beach views. Various meeting rooms for up to 80 people are also on this level, with ample restrooms for both men and women.
On the lower level are two spa treatment rooms, one especially for couples, as well as showers, lockers, changing rooms and restrooms, all easily accessible from the pool area or the main floor.
Horses - A handsome stable of horses can be found within the Hacienda, right next to the beach. You can tour the beach on horseback or ride along rivers and pastures, enjoying first-hand the imposing natural landscape of Hacienda Pinilla.
Nature Trails - Rivers, lakes, beaches and wildlife refuges surround the residential development on a property which in itself is an extensive dry tropical forest, home to a wide variety of birds, insects, amphibeans, reptiles and mammals ranging from toucans and butterflies to frogs, turtles, iguanas and monkeys – all of which can be seen right there along 16 kilometers of picturesque nature trails.
